For women and children affected by war, we organized a series of events that combine psychological, legal and social support. This is more than a project - it is the start of personal stories of recovery that begin with sincere attention and action.
What we did together:
Psychological and legal assistance
The project included group psychological sessions from practicing psychologists and psychotherapists from the Institute of Structural Analysis, where women could share their experiences, feel support and receive tools for emotional stabilization.
Individual legal consultations were also provided - participants were able to receive professional help on personal, social and legal issues.
Psychosocial support and basic safety skills
A lecture by experts from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) on gender-based violence: how to recognize it, where to turn and how to act.
Lecture from Handicap International on the topic of mine risk and handling explosive objects - knowledge that saves lives.
Employment and career guidance
Online meeting with robota.ua specialists - how to write an effective resume, overcome fears and confidently take the first step into a new professional life.
Meetings with the team of the Millennium chocolate factory - with the first experience of communicating with an employer, getting acquainted with vacancies and working conditions.
A study tour of the Interpipe production company - expanding ideas about professions available to women, overcoming stereotypes and getting acquainted with employment opportunities.
Why is this important?
The project participants did not just receive help. They gained knowledge, took the first steps towards independence, and felt faith in themselves.
We saw how fear gives way to confidence, and isolation to support.
We thank each woman and their children for their trust.
To our partners, for the strength that comes from unity.
In particular, we thank the Millennium Chocolate Factory for their financial support and belief in the importance of our mission.
The “Path to Peace” is complete — but the action is not complete.
Because peace is not an end point. It is an ongoing process. And we continue to walk this path together.
