Briefly about the main thing
The project "ACCESS VI: Providing multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance to the conflict-affected population in Ukraine and Moldova" was implemented by the CSO "Tse - Nasha Sprava!". The main goal was to provide food support to low-income families in the Kharkiv region, which suffered from hostilities at the beginning of the russian invasion.
The project provided for the delivery of food kits to the city of Kharkiv, the village of Fedortsy and five settlements of the Bezlyudivska united territorial community (the village of Bezlyudivka, the village of Vasyshcheve, the village of Khorosheve, the village of Kotlyary, the village of Lyzohubivka). As part of the activity, 550 food kits were distributed: 326 in Bezlyudivka (07/23/2022), 45 in Kotlyary (07/27/2022) and 50 in Lyzohubivka (07/31/2022). Each kit contained wheat groats, sunflower oil, flour, canned fish, pasta, black tea, sugar, condensed milk and stewed pork, designed for one family (on average 3 people), and 2-3 kits were provided for large families.
The selection of beneficiaries was based on the criteria of poverty, with a special focus on vulnerable groups: single mothers (11 people), large families with three or more children (7 people) and the elderly (249 people). In total, 421 unique beneficiaries were reached. The project responded to acute humanitarian needs in the region, where many families have lost access to a stable income and basic resources due to the war.
Project achievements
The project was successfully completed. 550 food kits were distributed, reaching 421 unique beneficiaries (294 women and 127 men), mainly adults aged 18-49 (170 people) and over 50 (249 people). Short-term impact: providing basic nutrition for low-income families during the crisis. Long-term impact: supporting the livelihoods and morale of those affected, as confirmed by grateful feedback.
