Velyki Khutory village and Shevchenkove town

Briefly about the main thing
The project "Meeting the urgent intersectoral humanitarian needs of IDPs and conflict-affected populations in Ukraine" was implemented by the CSO "Tse - Nasha Sprava!". The goal was to provide blankets to residents of deoccupied settlements - the village of Velyki Khutory and the town of Shevchenkove, which were under occupation from April 3 to September 10, 2022 and suffered significant material losses due to hostilities.
The project included two activities: delivery of 314 blankets to Velyki Khutory (23.11.2022 – 30.11.2022) and 316 blankets to Shevchenkove (28.12.2022 – 30.12.2022). Beneficiaries were selected based on vulnerability criteria: IDPs, elderly people, people with disabilities, and those whose housing was damaged.
Project achievements
The project was successfully completed. A total of 630 blankets were provided (314 in Velikiye Khutory and 316 in Shevchenkove), exceeding the initial plan of 280 blankets due to cost optimization and tendering. 630 unique beneficiaries received assistance, including 35 IDPs and 3 people with disabilities. Short-term effect: providing heat during the winter period, when people found themselves in adverse conditions due to damaged gas pipelines and electricity outages. Long-term effect: supporting the livelihoods of those affected, increasing their morale.
