Kharkiv region

Briefly about the main thing

The project was implemented by the CSO “Tse - Nasha Sprava!” with financial support from the Danish Refugee Council (DRC). Its goal was to provide humanitarian assistance to war victims in the Kharkiv region, a zone of active hostilities at the beginning of the russian invasion in 2022.

As part of the project, the organization formed and delivered 590 food kits, each weighing 6-7 kg, which included wheat groats, sunflower oil, bread (loaf), canned fish, pasta and black tea. Due to cost savings during purchases, shampoo was added to each kit, and sweet waffles and drinks for children and coffee sticks for adults were purchased separately. In addition, 21 packages of baby diapers, 2 packages of hypoallergenic baby food, 30 packages of adult diapers and 20 packages of disposable diapers for people with health problems were distributed.

The aid was directed at internally displaced families (IDPs), large families and vulnerable people permanently residing in the specified settlements. The kits were calculated as one per family (2-3 for large families), which on average reached about 1,770 beneficiaries, taking into account the typical family size of 3 people. The delivery process was covered by regional television, and the head of the NGO, Valentin Rodzin, emphasized DRC's support in an interview (link to the story: https://youtu.be/y72OGRY0m2E ).
