Briefly about the main thing

The project "Technical and material support to local organizations and volunteer groups in Ukraine" is implemented by the Civil Society Organization "Tse - Nasha Sprava". The main goal is to help residents of the village of Borshchova restore their homes after damage caused by military actions and natural factors. The project repaired 11 roofs and replaced 6 entrance doors in 17 households, which provided support to 30 beneficiaries.

The activity was aimed at protecting houses from precipitation, improving safety and comfort of living. When selecting beneficiaries, the following criteria were taken into account: permanent residence in the household and vulnerability (presence of disability, old age, families with children, etc.). The main problem was the change in the condition of the roofs due to poor-quality tarpaulin covering before the start of the work, which complicated the repair.

Project achievements

The project was successfully completed. All planned objectives were achieved: 11 roofs were repaired and 6 doors were replaced, which corresponds to the initial indicators. The works were carried out between 29.06.2023 and 05.10.2023, although the official project duration was until 31.10.2023. Short-term results include increased safety and comfort for 30 people, improved living conditions and psychological well-being of beneficiaries. In the long term, the project contributed to household resilience to weather conditions, social integration and strengthened partnerships with local communities.
