Pereshchepyne City Territorial Community, Dnipropetrovsk Region

The NGO “This Is Our Cause!” has launched the implementation of a project to support vulnerable households in the Dnipropetrovsk region, particularly in the Pereshchepyne City Territorial Community, within the framework of the project “Response Consortium: Provision of Multi-Sectoral Humanitarian Assistance to Conflict-Affected Population in Ukraine (2023–2026)”.
The goal of the project is to support vulnerable population groups by restoring food security, increasing the level of self-sufficiency, and developing opportunities for self-employment.
Within the framework of the program, in-kind grants are предусмотрено provided in the form of either greenhouses with plants and fertilizers or poultry houses with raised chickens and feed.
Below are the vulnerability criteria that must be met and confirmed in order to be eligible to apply and participate in the competition.
Applications can be submitted by:
• households displaced from areas of active hostilities (internally displaced persons);
• households with three or more children under 18 years old.
The program is aimed at strengthening the economic capacity of households and enhancing their resilience.
Individuals who are related to each other and live together as one household, sharing a common domestic life (for example, a husband and wife and/or their children), may not apply separately or simultaneously compete for grants.
Detailed information about the competition, its requirements, and recommendations for completing applications will be provided during an information session conducted by representatives of the NGO “This Is Our Cause!” in the Pereshchepyne City Territorial Community.
Participant selection is carried out based on an assessment of the household’s socio-economic status.
Expected outcome
Thanks to the implementation of the project, households will be able to:
• increase the level of food security
• meet basic needs with their own resources
• create or restore a source of income
• strengthen their resilience
The project facilitates the transition from humanitarian aid to more long-term solutions that support family self-reliance.
Implementation approach
The project is being implemented in accordance with humanitarian principles:
• humanity
• impartiality
• neutrality
• independence
This project is implemented by the NGO “This Is Our Cause!” in partnership with the humanitarian non-governmental organization Acted, within the framework of the Response Consortium, with financial support from the U.S. Department of State.
